How To Take Better Photos - Home Page
Welcome To Photography by JET
If you want to learn to take better photos, you have come to the right place.

You will learn to take photos that you will be proud of. My goal with this website is to help you take better photos. I hope to help you, no matter if you are just looking to take better photos for your scrapbook or if you think it might be cool to be a professional photographer someday.
I just added a post about taking great photos of your outdoor Christmas light decorations.
You will find many hints on night time photography as well as taking photographs in cold weather.
This site is undergoing an update!
I am making some major changes to photographybyjet.com.
I have just changed this site to make it faster and easier for me to update. I will also be making it a bit more interactive in places. This site will continue to grow over the next few months. Right now, I have articles on taking photos at your child's graduation and taking photos of fireworks. There are also articles on improving your photography and common mistakes. There will be lots more coming in the future and I hope you will subscribe to site so you do not miss any new updates.
Since I tend to type a bit on the slow side, I will probably be slow to answer any questions if you should contact me, but try anyway. Please do not be offended if I do not answer you quickly or if you eventually get some type of automated answer.
I am interested to know if you have any photography related questions you think you would like to see an article on.
If I find there is interest in a subject I will try share my experience or at least my opinion (I'll try to base my opinion on experience though).
It does not matter if you view photography as a profession, hobby, art, or a way to prolong memories.
Photography has undergone incredible changes in just a few years and will continue to undergo many additional and profound changes in just next couple years. While many fantastic things have happened, some of the changes have not always been for the better. The photography industry has been hard hit by market and technology changes. It has been difficult for professional photographers, manufacturers, consumers, and even the subjects of photography to endure the changes we have seen so far.
